About me? Where do I begin… This is the hardest part for me… talking about myself. So, here it goes…

I grew up in a small town in Virginia. There wasn’t a lot to do and I must say- I was a weird kid. I knew it then and I realize it, now, even more. Dance was my refuge, where I could connect. Being a creative spirit, I knew a life in the arts is what called to me. After graduating with a BFA in Dance and Choreography from VCU, life led me to the coast of SC where I had the opportunity to perform and teach for many years. After marrying and starting a family, the spotlight changed its focus. I dabbled in yoga through the years, being a dancer, but never really connected beyond a physical level… until my pregnancy of our youngest child. It filled me, in a new way, that dance did, in my younger days. Yoga has literally taught me how to breathe again, both on and off of my mat. It’s so much more than the asana (the poses), but more about the lessons along the way- if we listen.

I completed my YTT 200 hour certification in July of 2017 through Yoga Alliance. I currently teach in styles of Vinyasa Flow, Yoga Sculpt, Yin, YinYasa, Salty Yoga, Hot Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. I am currently E-RYT 500 and a YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider). I most recently completed my 300 hour certification with Asheville Yoga Center. I am fascinated about learning so many different techniques and paths. They all lead upward.

I am also an educator for all things safer… whether it’s personal care products, healthier eating, essential oils or clean, local to me, CBD. I help others learn to live less toxic lifestyles and help others live their best lives! My passion as an educator is to also educate on safer, cleaner lifestyles and how to slowly transition the switch. I most recently received my certification as a Medical Cannabis Consultant, allowing me to help you feel your best even more! Progress always, over perfection. I’m a homeschooling mom which even surprises me sometimes… a true lesson of “never say never.” We are constantly adapting and shifting when we need to. I’m also a Lyme Disease Warrior 💪 and help others advocate for their own health.

I am a true introvert with a hippie heart, loving to be at home with my fam, but also reading, journaling, listening to music, and putting my toes in the sand. I love all things breakfast, all things musical theater 🎭, shopping local, a good farmer’s market, thunderstorms, and riding in my 1976 VW bus ✌🏻
